College World Series
June 22, 2009
Let me get this straight. There are 6 umps for the Little League World Series where the fences are only 220 ft. away and in the college world series where they are 400 ft. away the NCAA in all of its wisdom only sends 4 for each game. The reason I bring this up is because in the Virginia-LSU game a ball was hit down the left field line and bounced inside the foul a good foot and the ball was called foul by the third base umpire. If we had 6 umps that call would not have been missed. What is going on with the NCAA? I will tell you. They could care less about the baseball or any other sports except men’s basketball and football. Can we have get something right? I sincerely doubt it.
