Federer is the best of all time!
July 21, 2009
Sorry, but there is no one close to this man. This was supposed to be a bad year for him after losing to Nadal in the Australian Open Final. The torch was supposed to be past on the Nadal. Wait, something happen on the way to his demise. He wins the French after Nadal loses and because Nadal’s knees will never be healthy, remember Federer hardly ever gets injured, he pulls out of Wimbledon. He then faces Roddick, who plays the best tennis match of his life, and he finds a way to win that second set and basically won the match at that point.

Great year.
Fortunate to have Nadal lose early in French.
Fortunate to have Nadal not play at Wimbledon.
I think Nadal is now better on all surfaces except maybe Hard Courts
